Birmingham Croquet Club

Tournaments

We take the game on the road.

Birmingham plays the circuit — club opens around the Deep South, regional championships, and the national tournaments. Wherever there's a lawn and a bracket, Birmingham shows up.

The Grand Cup

The marquee trip comes every spring: the Grand Cup, played at The Lakewood Club in Point Clear, down near Fairhope on Mobile Bay, with players from across the country. It's the club's favorite weekend of the year, and the field feels more like a family reunion than a competition.

On the calendar

Tournaments members can enter.

The events page lists golf croquet tournaments on the USCA calendar alongside the club's own play days. The club doesn't really run tournaments of its own, so take tournament questions, including who's eligible, to the United States Croquet Association.
